Prague Parks, Gardens and Prague Arboretums
(Prague, Czech Republic, CZ)
You may not initially think of cities in the Czech Republic being filled with parks and gardens, but when it comes to Prague, this city certainly has more than its fair share, both in and around the city centre. Many years ago the Ledeburg Gardens were actually planted as the Royal vineyards, although today they serve as an important recreational space for locals and visitors to Prague alike.
Situated in central Prague, the Karlovo Namesti Park was once the location of a former cattle market and has become a well-placed recreational space amidst the noise of the city. If you wish to enjoy some of the best views across Prague's Old Town, then Latna Park is for you and is also well known for being home to the acclaimed Metronome, which is bright red, fully functional and serves as an unusual monument to Josef Stalin, a famous Soviet leader.
